Vehicle Fitment Guides
Plan a bespoke forged wheel around the vehicle you actually own. These guides explain the information needed for a fitment review and provide links to relevant designs and photographed references.
Choose your vehicle
- Tesla Model S forged-wheel fitment — variant, axle loads, tires, TPMS and staggered/AWD planning.
- Ford Mustang forged-wheel fitment — generation, brake package, suspension and tire clearance.
- Dodge Viper forged-wheel fitment — generation, front/rear requirements, brakes and concavity.
Fitment guidance and real builds
A fitment guide describes a planning process. A Vehicle Build documents a photographed car and its supplied details. A wheel shown on one vehicle should not be assumed compatible with every year, trim or modified version of that model.
For other vehicles, start with the complete Wheel Fitment Guide and send the year, make, model, trim and intended use. The team will identify the measurements and application details needed to review your preferred design.

Width and offset: a numerical example
Worked geometry example, not a recommended vehicle fitment: compare a 19 × 9 wheel at ET+40 with a 19 × 10 wheel at ET+35. One inch equals 25.4 mm, so the extra inch of width adds 12.7 mm on each side of the wheel centerline. Reducing offset by 5 mm shifts the wheel outward by 5 mm.
| Change | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Outer position | 12.7 + 5 | 17.7 mm farther outward |
| Inner position | 12.7 − 5 | 7.7 mm farther inward; less suspension clearance |
The tire’s actual section width, rim flange shape, suspension movement and body clearance still need checking. Offset alone cannot establish spoke-to-caliper clearance. For backspacing, use the measured overall rim width rather than treating nominal bead-seat width as the outside width.
Change in outer position = half the width increase − offset increase. Change in inner position = half the width increase + offset increase. Keep widths and offsets in the same units. A negative result means movement in the opposite direction.
