Tesla Model S Forged Wheel Fitment

A Model S wheel inquiry should begin with the exact year and variant. Use this guide to prepare an application-specific review rather than transferring a wheel specification from a photograph.

Identify your Model S

Include the year, variant, factory wheel package, front and rear tire sizes and any suspension or brake changes. If your vehicle is a Plaid, state that explicitly. Keep tire specifications and vehicle requirements tied to your own car rather than treating all Model S configurations as interchangeable.

Provide axle-rating information with the intended use. Wheel and tire capacity need to be considered together. The load-rating guide explains what to request for the selected configuration.

Review the wheel-and-tire package

Discuss desired diameter and width with the actual tire choice. Review brake-caliper and barrel clearance, mounting geometry and suspension travel. If front and rear tires differ, ask for a review of rolling circumference and the vehicle manufacturer’s compatibility requirements. Confirm TPMS compatibility and any required vehicle settings.

A larger diameter is a design choice with tire and ride implications, not an automatic performance or range improvement. Our EV wheel guide explains why efficiency expectations should be based on the complete package.

Compare a documented visual reference

See the photographed 2022 Tesla Model S Plaid on BE2-C10V. This is a specific build reference, not a fitment specification for every Model S. Open the BE2-C10V wheel page to review the design and construction.

Compare the Monoblock collection with Multi-Piece designs. Final concavity depends on the mounting geometry and brake envelope; the pictured face profile is not a universal fitment promise.

Prepare your inquiry

Send clear photos of the car, current wheel markings, tire sizes and brake setup. Include the desired stance, preferred finish and intended use. Start with the fitment checklist and request confirmation of front and rear dimensions, tire pairing, load capability and installation requirements before ordering.

Factory reference dimensions: 2021+ Model S

Tesla’s current U.S. Model S owner’s manual, Wheels and Tires publishes these factory wheel dimensions and tire sizes. Use them as a baseline for the applicable 2021+ vehicle, then verify your year, variant, brake package and door-label information. They are OEM references, not confirmed BE FORGED fitments for every Model S.

21-inch front21 × 9.5J+40 mm265/35R21
21-inch rear21 × 10.5J+45 mm295/30R21

The rear reference wheel is one inch wider and uses 5 mm more positive offset than the front. This is a staggered factory package. Preserve vehicle-specific tire compatibility when proposing an alternative; a generic front-to-rear percentage rule is not a replacement for Tesla’s requirements.

For a BE1 or BE2 comparison, list the selected front and rear dimensions beside this baseline and request measured wheel-only weights in those exact configurations. Calculate the total saving across two front and two rear wheels. Wheel diameter or forging alone does not establish a range improvement.
